Dr. Jeykl & Mrs. Hyde

Ever heard of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde? Well story has it that a Doctor in London, Dr. Jekyll, had split personalities, split in the sense that the Doctor had an evil side(Hyde) and a good side(Jeykll), and the two sides were extremely different. Well I have to report, with fear in my heart mind you, that we have one of these cases in our family...it's name is Autumn Townsend, and she can be a very sweet girl, or she can be a girl that I run and hide from.

You see, Autumn has been like this ever since we were young'ins, one minute we would be playing barbie dolls, and the next minute I was lying on the floor with a black eye...Ok so maybe thats a little far fetched but not entirely.

In fact, the more I think about it split personalities, meaning two personalities, is not quite accurate in Autumns case because she has more than two. Instead of trying to tell you about it, because no words will do her personalities justice, I will just show you, so you can see for yourself The Many Sides of Autumn:
WARNING: Few have ever seen the many personalities of Autumn, this sudden breakthrough might cause shock and hypothermia.

This is sweet Autumn aka: Autumn Lulu...this is the Autumn we can all tolerate...this is the Autumn that is safe to be around.

This is slightly irritated, on the verge of destruction Autumn aka:...well there is no alternate name for this Autumn, because of the fear of the beating that will shortly follow the name calling. This is the Autumn I do not linger around...rightly so too.

This is absolutely crazy Autumn aka: well...crazy Autumn. This is the Autumn that is completely physco...there is no telling what she can do.

Well, there you have it. Those are only the few sides (out of many) that Autumn has. If you'll notice the pictures above are all taken in the same spot, and they were taken in a matter of seconds, so that should show you just how fast Autumn can transition into one of her many personalities. And after Autumn reads this post it will take her .1 seconds to transition into her angry personality (believe me I've seen it first hand.) So if you excuse me I think I'll leave the country for a little while, until Autumn is sweet again and I can rest in peace.

Peace, Love & One way tickets to Mexico

And they call the thing...Rodeo!

As the ever-balding Garth Brooks said: Its the bulls and the blood, its the dust and the mud, and they call the thing Rodeooooo(woh wah) and he was right, except when you are describing our type of rodeo its a little different. So I rewrote the song (kinda) and it goes like this...

Well its the broncs and the spurs, and the fight that occurs between cowboy and his foe

Its the wives that cheer when they see their cowboy show

It's the wild cry of a cowboy at his best

It's the importance of the words that the cowboy says

Its the (wild) boots...

And the (colorful) chaps,

It's the cowboys hat!

It's cowgirls learnin' how to rope

Its the milkin'

And its the slow...

And they call the thing RODEO(woh wah)!!!!

Ok, so that was probably a pretty cheesy version, of a pretty cheesy song, but hey it was a way I could show you just what we do, and how much we love it.

Even if it drives us crazy & even if it drives us insane

Song long man, I'll see you.

True Love

While we were at Colorado Springs something happened. It can be hid no longer. I fell in love. And it wasn't just me that cupid shot, he shot Autumn too. Yes its true, the love bug bit us. They are very nice boys too. Very quite, in fact, they hardly ever say anything. But, thats why we love them. They are definately one of a kind.

This is Autumns beau. Isn't he handsome? I just love his pale skin, and dark eyes. As you can tell Autumn is quite smitten.

And this...this is my beau. Isn't he a dandy? As you can tell I opt for the darker men. You know, a stiffed collar kinda guy.

Well as you can tell me and Autumn hit the jackpot. We found the kind of men every girl dreams of...he doesn't fight back, therfore I am always right!

May you all find your true loves.

Peace, Love, and well...true love

Buckin' Suckers

Yesterday, something tragic happened. Tragic it was indeed. I was thrown off my horse, and recieved several thousand stickers lodged in my hindquarters. It was no happy event, but I am going to focus on the positive instead of the negative...so heres to the people who have the ability to ride the so called "buckin suckers"

This is Riley, and he can ride a buckin sucker indeed, and aren't we all glad he can, because if he couldn't who would ride our bronc all the rodeos??

This is my daddy, he is not riding a buckin sucker here, but he could if he had to. So kudos to you Daddy.

This is alot of other cowboys at the Colorado Springs Ranch Rodeo, who also could ride buckin suckers if they had to.

And this, well Im not sure who this is...maybe I should've read the plack...but obviously he can ride buckin suckers.

So heres to you, whoever you are out there who has the ability to ride a buckin sucker, may you not fall off anymore buckin suckers, and have to experience searing pain from a tiny thousand stickers.

Peace, Love, & broke horses

Woe & Glory

Dear Readers,

Today was a long day. It shouldn't've been a long day because it was rather enjoyable, but I managed to feel the brunt of it, because of various incidents I will later venture to tell you about. But sadly for now, dear readers, I will have to leave you with this short poem, or rather a collaborative writing of my thoughts...

Woe to the rider who does not stay on,
I feel your pain & also feel for your mom.

Woe to the bushes that feel the brunt of your fall,
and woe to the person to whom you tell all.

Glory to the person who doesn't pick plums,
but rather instead hangs with your chums.

And Glory to the person who is well fed,
For now you will sleep fine in your bed.

(If I knew how to copyright that piece of work, believe me chums it would be done.)

Peace, Love, & Random thoughts that yet to make sence

Theres about to be a what? GIRL FIGHT

Last weekend we went to the lovely city of Colorado Springs, Colorado to a Ranch Rodeo. While we were there we were fortunate enough to visit the Cowboy Hall of Fame where I must admit, I learned something pretty interestin...

Over the history of time (Does that phrase make sence??? I don't know...) there has been something that has been occuring quite regularly, it even happens in my household about 3 to 5 times a week...

It is the notorious GIRL FIGHT.

Whether it be over status, clothes, or more notably boys they occur...all the time.

At the Hall of Fame, there was a sequence of photos where two cowgirls had a fight, I dont know what it was over (but I suppose it was over whether who got to take a bath first, because that's sure what I would be fighting over if I was out on the trail ALL day!) but the pictures were definately a sight to behold.

Now in this day and time if you took a picture of two girls fighting, one would end up crying for sure, and probably never talk again.

Ex: Me & Autumn...I would be the one crying and she would be the one not talking, but eventually she talks because she can't stand not having my company...who can't??

But not these girls...

They end up smiling, and proud of themselves because they can hold their own, and actually know how to fight...If I knew how to fight, Autumn would have black eyes more often, but unfortunatley I do not. So in conclusion these girls are now my heroines, and also in conclusion Im taking boxing classes so I can hold my own against my mean sister, and my cousin Scout who packs a mean punch.

Peace, Love & the imminent purchase of boxing gloves

Red, White & Blue

In spirit of the Fourth I searched through some photos and found one that says "America" to me! Or at least, it was red, white, & blue...

Now, what isn't more American than Rodeo? Or at least to us hillbillies...

Now for you more sophisticated folk, I bet this picture is what America is all about to you....

FOOD!!

Or at least he'll eventually be food...but for now he's just Uncle Sam, the Patriotic Turkey...

Happy Fourth Everyone!!
